So pre season over what have we learned...
As a sombre mood comes over me after watching our kids get knocked out of Europe what have we learned from a rather interesting pre-season....

1) Best performance for me was Norwich away, especially second half when we moved the ball really well and for a period Norwich couldnt live with us

2) Slav is definitely trying to play a more passing and movement game through midfield. This has to be a positive.

3) Payet looks a good buy and is going to be a key player this season.

4) Lanzini looks like a crowd pleaser, not sure how many games he will play 90 mins in though, seems more of an impact player to me.

5) Defensively I think we have looked very dodgy in pre-season. one thing I will praise Allardyce for is he got the back four set up well.Henry and Ogbanna look about as good - one was a lot cheaper!

6) We need a striker

7) Darren Randolph - strange signing, not sure why he appealed to us so much, a lot of Birmingham fans never rated him.

8) Julian Dicks - I will get slated for daring to question the legend that is and as much as I loved him as a player I'm not sure he has what it takes as coach at first team level - I hope
I am wrong.

For all the good and bad its Arsenal at the weekend so lets hang onto the positives and dare to dream. COME ON YOU IRONS!!!!
